Travel/Logistics Support:
Limited number of travel/Logistics support up to US$ 250/Actual expenses (Whichever is lower) is available to confirmed attendees. Reimbursement is available post attendance of the event.
Please note that this program is being organized by IEEE Region 10 Section Chapter Committee and sponsored and supported IEEE Region 10 Conference Quality Management Committee, IEEE Region 10 Conference and Technical Seminar Committee, IEEE Conferences, Events and Experiences (IEEE CEE earlier MCE), IEEE Technical Activity Board (IEEE TAB), IEEE Computer Society, IEEE Sensors Council, IEEE Dataport and other IEEE OUs.
It is expected that we will have representation of IEEE MGA, IEEE TAB and several IEEE Societies and their leaderships during this program.
The trained volunteers from this program shall be able to ensure that they
- Manage the section-chapter operations smoothly and strengthen their relationship
- Organize and guide IEEE conferences efficiently and effectively ensuring the quality as per IEEE standard in their respective sections.

IEEE OUs IEEE Region/Council/Section/Society Chapters/Student Branch/Student Branch Chapters are requested to nominate and support delegates for this important program, which is a great opportunity for the volunteers/Potential Volunteers/ Section Chairs, IEEE Society Chapter Chairs, Conference chairs, coordinators, Society Chapter Conference Coordinators, IEEE Conference organizers, Volunteers responsible for Section or Chapter Leadership planning and management and others to get first-hand information and training on Society Chapter Activities and Coordination with other Ous.
Prospective delegates shall seek support from their OUs
(IEEE Region/Council/Section/Society Chapter/ Student Branch/Student Branch Chapters).
The batch size is limited to 50 delegates.

What to Expect:
The IEEE Section Chapter Symposium provides a platform for IEEE R10 Sections, Councils, IEEE Society chapters, IEEE Student Branches to network, engage, and collaborate.
It offers opportunities to learn Society chapter management strategies, share experiences, and discuss best practices. Section Chairs, Chapter Chairs, and Section Chapter Coordinators are encouraged to attend and nominate officers for attendance.

- Chapters will be able to establish and maintain a communication channel with other Section Chapter coordinators. It will help in promoting and assisting major Chapter events and TCS conferences in R10 sections.

- Opportunity to attend IEEE Conference Leadership Program (CLP) - There is a plan to organize ‘IEEE Region 10 Conference Leadership Program’ to train volunteers from the sections of Region 10 co-located with 2024 IEEE Section chapter symposium. It is expected that the trained volunteers shall be able to organize and guide IEEE conferences efficiently and effectively ensuring the quality as per IEEE standard in their respective sections. IEEE MCE is supporting this session and attendees will be able to meet Volunteers and IEEE Staffs from IEEE Conferences Committee and Leaderships from IEEE Conferences, Experiences and Events (CEE)
